Floof is a single-player, gem-collecting survival game in which the player vacuums out deep tunnels in a pool of ‘floof’ (fluff) to find glowing gems. They must find the exit and escape from the fluff with as many gems as they can without getting overrun by gem-stealing floof monsters.
Indie, 3rd Person, Mining, Collection
This is a fast-paced game with a cute aesthetic. We aim for the player to have a joyful, non-horror, yet urgent/suspenseful, player experience. Making the floof-monsters look cute should make evading them a more joyful and humorous experience for the player, rather than a scary one.
The player uses their vacuum to dig tunnels through the floof. Their vacuum can also be used as a blower to blow floof monsters away.

Gems are found scattered across the floof. They are a resource for player upgrades, and are also counted towards the player’s overall score at the end of the game.

Floof monsters spawn in the tunnels dug by the player, and will constantly be in pursuit of the player for their gems. If the player is caught, they lose their gems for that particular level and must try again from the start of the level.
